Manufacturing Process Development Expert
Trent brings over 22 years of experience to Matica Bio. He has assembled and is currently leading the Upstream Process Development, Downstream Process Development and Process Engineering Departments. Prior to joining Matica Bio, Trent hired, trained, and led Manufacturing Support and Upstream Manufacturing teams for Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies supporting Operation Warp Speed production of COVID-19 vaccines. Further experience includes Elanco, Boehringer-Ingelheim and Wyeth. Notable accomplishments: Recipient of the Technical Achievement of the year award from Elanco for his work in technology transfer and process development, development of vaccines (influenza , low protein , EU, Rabies),development of cell lines from adherent to animal origin free suspension culture and extensive studies with microcarrier process development.
